Confessional Tuesday
Seems like just yesterday I told you about the Woobie, and here it is, another Tuesday and I've got to confess something. Problem is, now that my mom is on to me, I have to confess something probably not worth confessing, something that if Mom reads, she can be like, "Oh, good, she's not talking about the topaz thing anymore."
So, what to confess, what to confess?
Anyone want to know anything specific that is Blog-Mom-Sensitive?

i think you should trick your mom and change your URL - tell all of us, of course
i have secretly always wanted to do acting, but i never got the guts to go out and ever try it. my parents took me to hollywood a couple times for auditions, but I was so rebellious, I bucked the system. but i have always wanted to act. NO ONE knows... at all.
ex - do it
acting is so much fun, if you have the opportunity to do it in ANY forum - plays, commercials, whatever, do it
if you love it, then you have found a new love
if you hate it, well then you won't have that nawing desire
Eeeek. Sounds so exciting. But how do you start????

J Holden, I am totally thinking of doing exactly what you've suggested. I have another URL set up in fact. And, my mom is taking a flight on Thursday so she won't be near a computer for a few days... hmmm.... this might be the big switchover! I have to really consider this one!
Ex--you SHOULD follow your dreams. If you don't you'll ALWAYS be like, "Man, I wish I did that." That's why I am spending time blogging and trying to write novels. When you find a passion, you have to go for it! You can start by auditioning for some local plays in your town! You should do it NOW before the marriage and kids stuff comes along!
J Holden -- it's gnawing, not nawing (there goes the Mom in me!)
A Definite Cool Entity Decides Fate! (I always try to make the WV match what the topic of convo is.)
ex - check out your local community colleges for classes, if your paper has like a weekly entertainment guide, usually any open auditions will be listed there
if you experiment and really like it, you can ultimately go to some local (small) agencies in your area and try to sign a contract, so they'll work to get you jobs, promotional, commercial, etc. - but that will require getting a comp card or a headshot made and making copies for them to send out ($$$)
take a class or 2, that'll give you a good idea of whether it's something worth pursuing
and steph - i knew i was spelling that wrong, but you're still a big dork for correcting it (haha)

Its starts in december and i am debating right now cause it is $$$$. EEEEK! :) but i should just go for it, like i did with my surfing and writing classes... awesome and so happy I did it. I'm also busy with painting and ceramics courses. UGH! :) thanks for the nudge guys, (or gnudge- hehehe). You're awesome. I gave you shout outs on my blog. :)

My confession is I have always wanted to learn ballroom dancing. My husband is not interested in it.

honestly, in 10 years, are you gonna REALLY miss that money, or are you gonna remember that class and what it taught you?
