Completely Unrelated To The Post Below
Today, Jen Weiner's fourth novel, Goodnight Nobody comes out. I'm soooo getting it! She is my Author Stalkee, and I don't know how I'm going to find the time to read it, but you can bet I will finish it by the weekend!
(I can probably read it while I'm couch-bound with Tukey, who is getting his tonsils removed tomorrow a.m., in yet another completely unrelated topic of conversation.)
I've met her twice, been emailing back and forth (yes, she responds, and she's really cool), have all the books signed by her, and am looking at a picture where she is hugging ME right this very minute!
She's not only My Author Stalkee, but My Author Idol.
Shout out to Jen because I know she reads my Blog daily too! Hee. Hee.

Hope Turkey's tonsilectomy goes well - we had Baby Girl's out in March took her forever to get her voice back... but now she is gaining weight, and doesn't gag all the time! yeah!
momma of 2--how old is Baby Girl again? Ajers had his tonsils out at 1-1/2 - he had to stay in the hosp overnight--turned blue. It sucked, plus I was two weeks away from having Diva. Not a good scene. I hate how their voices change. Tukey will sound like Minnie Mouse for sure! Thanks for the thoughts!
i just "hit up" the b & n downtown naperthrill to get goodnight nobody...i read the first few chapters while i was there and its so so good (like all of her novels!) i cant wait to finsih this one...and lucky us, whitney gaskells new book comes out soon too!
its a great reading month :)
now when is your novel going to be hitting our shelves...thats the bigger question!
Baby Girl will be 3 on 10/11...
It took us almost a whole year to get PCP convinced to send us to a specialist - and he was more concerned that she didn't weigh enough...but when he saw her tonsils on a tuesday - we had them out that Friday (Good Friday!). We went in at 5:30 am - and were sent home at 11:00 pm at night...gotta love HMO's.
Alani--I WAS ALMOST AT THE NAPERVILLE B&N THIS AFTERNOON, but went to the DG one instead for Goodnight Nobody. Why aren't we meeting up for lunch one day?!?!? JW will be at Anderson's on Oct 23, that Sunday, but you'll probably be busy snuggling with Joel!!!
Momma of 2--Baby Girl probably didn't weigh enough because the poor thing couldn't get any damned food down her throat!!!
